Every summer from July to September it is possible to visit the Royal Palace, one of the most beautiful official buildings in Brussels. You have then an opportunity to discover not only monumental halls, corridors and staircases, but also a wide collection of art from various ages or photographs of the royal family. The cherry on the top is the ceiling in Salle des Glaces. Since 2002 it has been decorated with 1.4 million shards of Thai scarabs.
The neoclassical building of Royal Palace lies in the very heart of Brussels, just next to the Royal Park. Currently the royal office is situated in the Palace, receptions and concerts are taking place here.
