Floralia Brussels

by Michaela

Not only Amsterdam has its tulips exhibition. The Belgian capital proudly organizes Floralia Brussels where you can see not only tulips, but also some other sorts of flowers. Every year in April, a spring flower exhibition ‘Floralia Brussels’ takes place in the park of the castle Groot-Bijgaarden, only 7 km from Brussels. In the park of 14 hectares, you can admire over 500 varieties of flowers, out of which 400 varieties of tulips.

You can have a walk in the park designed by a well-known garden architect of the 19th century, get lost in the labyrinth from the tulips and discover trendy flower creations in the greenhouse.

More information on the official website of the event.

If you like flowers, you should also check what is going on in the mysterious “Blue Forest” Bois de Hal (also few kilometers from Brussels) by the end of April.
