Last weekend, while visiting my family in the Czech Republic, we also spent some time in the forest near our cottage and we got some true blueberries! Me and my mum, as well as my sister and brother, we did about 1 liter of them and my mum gave me all as a kind of souvenir. 🙂
What a difference between the true blueberries (blue/purple inside, very tasty) and the blueberries that I can get in the shops (usually those big blueberries that are white inside, with not a non-comparable taste).
Blueberries contain a lot of antioxidants, they are anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing, improve memory, and support healthy blood pressure. I am now enjoying them fully, and this smoothie is a proof. Just try it too, for a delicious and refreshing breakfast!
- 1 cup blueberries, frozen
- 1 banana
- 1 cup vanilla joghurt
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1 tsp. agave sirop
- Throw all ingredients in the mixer, mix until smooth.
- Pour into glasses and serve.
- If you do not have vanilla joghurt, you can use plain joghurt and soy milk with vanilla flavour instead.
